Trees weep
Crisp golden tears
Castoff crinolines
Crunch!
Children laugh
Sorrow turned to joy
Lantern
The moon rides her silver chariot
Across cloudlet bridge to diamond starlights
Its passing gilding thundertops,
frosting tree lace
I see not man, nor rabbit, nor frog
But loving Father
Hanging life's lantern
Mute testament
Even in your darkest hour,
I am here
